Bamboo raw materialRobert Hambros
A few words about bamboo material for textile products – socks.
Bamboo is an excellent natural fabric, that does not require fertilizer or spray for its fast growth. Usually, socks made of bamboo viscose are obtained from bamboo cellulose. The properties attributed to bamboo viscose are: anti-bacterial, soft, silky touch, natural UV protection, natural shine, good thermal controlling ability (better than cotton or hemp), natural ability to prevent unpleasant odors, fast water absorption, fast drying, long durability, very little shrinkage, resistance to wrinkling (better than cotton) and bio-degradability. So it’s no wonder that socks from bamboo are gaining popularity.
