“Cologne” Fragrance Oil is a perfumery blend (not an essential oil) inspired by fresh men’s colognes—sparkling citrus and aromatic herbs over clean woods/musk (sometimes a cool marine note). Crisp, modern, and versatile. Not affiliated with any brand.

Why it’s good

• Instantly gives products a clean, confident, barbershop vibe

• Typically strong cold/hot throw and good longevity

• Layers easily with citrus, woods, or aquatic notes

How it’s used

Measure by weight and follow your supplier’s IFRA limits.

Home fragrance

• Candles: 6–10% of wax weight; cure ~1 week

• Wax melts: 8–12%

• Reed diffusers: 15–25% in a diffuser base (Augeo/DPG)

• Room/linen spray: 1–3% in alcohol or a properly solubilized water base

Bath & body (patch test first)

• Leave-on (lotions, body oils, perfume): ~0.5–2%

• Rinse-off (soap/body wash): ~2–4% of batch weight (≈3–5% of oils for CP soap)

• Melt & pour soap: 1–3% of base weight

Blends well with: bergamot, lemon, grapefruit; lavender, rosemary, sage; marine/ocean notes; cedar, sandalwood, vetiver; musk, light amber.

Safety & tips

• Do not apply undiluted or ingest; keep away from kids/pets

• Some ultrasonic diffusers aren’t designed for fragrance oils—check your device manual

• In cold-process soap, test a small batch for acceleration/discoloration

• Store tightly closed in a cool, dark place
