“Chanel”-type Fragrance Oil is a perfumery blend inspired by classic Chanel-style perfumes—sparkling aldehydic citrus on top, a heart of rose, jasmine & ylang, and a powdery, musky, woody base (sandalwood/vanilla/amber). Elegant, chic, and long-lasting. Not affiliated with the Chanel brand.

Why it’s good

• Instantly adds a luxury, sophisticated vibe to products and spaces

• Typically offers strong cold/hot throw and good longevity

• More stable & consistent than natural blends; works across many bases

How it’s used

Always measure by weight and follow your supplier’s IFRA limits.

Home fragrance

• Candles: 6–10% of wax weight; cure ~1 week

• Wax melts: 8–12%

• Reed diffusers: 15–25% in a diffuser base (Augeo/DPG)

• Room/linen spray: 1–3% in alcohol or a properly solubilized water base

Bath & body (patch test first)

• Leave-on (lotions, body oils, perfume): ~0.5–2%

• Rinse-off (soap/body wash): ~2–4% of batch weight (≈3–5% of oils for CP soap)

• Melt & pour soap: 1–3% of base weight

Blends well with: bergamot/mandarin, violet/iris, rose or jasmine boosters, vanilla/tonka, sandalwood, cedar, white musk, light amber.

Safety & tips

• Do not apply undiluted or ingest; keep away from kids/pets

• Some ultrasonic diffusers aren’t designed for fragrance oils—check the device manual

• CP soap: test a small batch—powdery/vanillic notes can accelerate trace or discolor

• Store tightly closed, cool, and dark
