Peppermint Fragrance Oil is a perfumery blend that smells crisp, cool, and minty—sweet peppermint candy with a clean menthol breeze. Bright, refreshing, and very noticeable.

Why it’s good

• Instantly energizes rooms and cuts odors (great for kitchens/baths).

• Gives products a clean, spa-fresh vibe; perfect for holiday or “cooling” blends.

• More stable & consistent than natural peppermint essential oil in candles/soap.

How it’s used

Measure by weight and follow your supplier’s IFRA limits. Start low—mint can overpower.

Home fragrance

• Candles: 6–10% of wax weight; cure ~1 week.

• Wax melts: 8–12%.

• Reed diffusers: 15–25% in a diffuser base (Augeo/DPG).

• Room/linen spray: 1–3% in alcohol or a properly solubilized water base.

Bath & body (patch test first)

• Leave-on (lotions, body oils, perfume): ~0.5–1.5% (mint reads strong on skin).

• Rinse-off (soap/body wash): ~2–4% of batch weight (≈3–5% of oils for CP soap).

• Melt & pour soap: 1–3% of base weight.

Blends well with: eucalyptus, spearmint, rosemary, tea tree; lemon/lime/orange; vanilla/chocolate (mint chip), pine, cedar, lavender.

Safety & tips

• Do not apply undiluted or ingest; keep away from kids/pets.

• Some ultrasonic diffusers aren’t designed for fragrance oils—check your device manual.

• In cold-process soap, peppermint notes can accelerate trace; test a small batch.

• Store tightly closed in a cool, dark place.
