“Shangri-La”-type Fragrance Oil is a hotel-inspired blend—sparkling citrus and fresh green/tea notes over airy white florals (jasmine/lotus), with clean musk, sandalwood, and a soft ozonic finish. Elegant, spa-like, and very crowd-pleasing. Not affiliated with the Shangri-La brand.

Why it’s good

• Instantly creates a luxury, freshly-cleaned ambience for homes, offices, and spas

• Light yet present; typically shows good cold/hot throw in candles

• Versatile base for layering with citrus, aquatic, or woody notes

How it’s used

Always measure by weight and follow your supplier’s IFRA limits.

Home fragrance

• Candles: 6–10% of wax weight; cure ~1 week

• Wax melts: 8–12%

• Reed diffusers: 15–25% in diffuser base (Augeo/DPG)

• Room/linen spray: 1–3% in alcohol or a properly solubilized water base

Bath & body (patch test first)

• Leave-on (lotions, body oils, perfume): ~0.5–2%

• Rinse-off (soap/body wash): ~2–4% of batch weight (≈3–5% of oils for CP soap)

• Melt & pour soap: 1–3% of base weight

Blends well with: bergamot, grapefruit, green tea, cucumber/aloe, ocean notes, bamboo, cedarwood, sandalwood, white musk.

Warnings & tips

• Do not apply undiluted or ingest. Keep away from children & pets.

• Check IFRA maximums from your specific supplier before skin use.

• Some ultrasonic diffusers aren’t designed for fragrance oils—confirm your device allows them.

• In cold-process soap, test a small batch first (some perfume-style oils can accelerate trace or discolor).

• Store tightly closed in a cool, dark place; start with lower percentages and adjust to taste.
