Sandalwood Fragrance Oil is a perfumery blend that smells warm, creamy, and woody—soft milkiness with a hint of vanilla/amber and smooth musk. Grounding, elegant, and very unisex.

Why it’s good

• Adds a luxury, calming vibe; perfect base note for year-round scents

• Acts like a fixative, giving blends depth and longer wear/throw

• More affordable & consistent than natural sandalwood oil

How it’s used

Measure by weight and follow your supplier’s IFRA limits.

Home fragrance

• Candles: 6–10% of wax weight; cure ~1 week

• Wax melts: 8–12%

• Reed diffusers: 15–25% in a diffuser base (Augeo/DPG)

• Room/linen spray: 1–3% in alcohol or a properly solubilized water base

Bath & body (patch test first)

• Leave-on (lotions, body oils, perfume): ~0.5–2%

• Rinse-off (soap/body wash): ~2–4% of batch weight (≈3–5% of oils for CP soap)

• Melt & pour soap: 1–3% of base weight

Blends well with: vanilla/tonka, amber, oud, patchouli, cedar, vetiver; rose, jasmine, lavender; bergamot or lemon.

Safety & tips

• Do not apply undiluted or ingest; keep from kids/pets

• Some sandalwood fragrance oils contain vanillin → may discolor soap tan/brown and occasionally accelerate trace—test a small batch

• Some ultrasonic diffusers aren’t designed for fragrance oils—check your device manual

• Store tightly closed, cool, and dark
